This beautiful, 2 bedroom vacation apartment is named after the green heart of Budapest, the lush and fun City Park (Városliget or just Liget, as the locals call it) where it is located. In addition to being near to the Varosliget, the apartment is also surrounded by many embassies and diplomatic residences which have chosen this neighborhood because of the abundance of gorgeous villas from the turn of the 19th and 20th century on Andrássy Avenue, Városligeti Fasor and the streets in between.

This elegant holiday apartment of 135 m2/ 1,450 Sq Ft, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was fully renovated in 2010. No expense has been spared to create an ambience and experience comparable to the best boutique hotels, but with the freedom of space and amenities no luxury hotel can provide. The Art Deco influenced apartment is on the 2nd floor (with elevator) and sleeps 4 to 6 comfortably with two private bedrooms and a luxury three-seater sofa in the living room that makes a double bed.
The apartment has two beautifully designed bathrooms: a smaller one with shower and sink which is ensuite to the master bedroom, and a separate one with a large tub, toilet and sink (with beautiful Art Deco features like the original floor tiles and the towel holders). There is also a separate toilet for guests off of the entrance hall as well as a laundry room.

The Living/Dining/Kitchen areas are combined in one large, spacious central room in a loft like fashion which is bathed in morning sunlight. The open kitchen has an island and state of the art European appliances which will delight the best of chefs (combination oven, dishwasher, gas burners, large fridge and freezer, stainless cookware, toaster, coffee maker etc.) The dining table can comfortably seat 6 people. The spacious living room has a gorgeous sofa and a working fire place creating an ambience that combines the chic simplicity of modern day design with classic architecture. A Panasonic flat screen TV with surround sound system, wireless high speed internet, iPod dock, CD/DVD player, and a range of cinema classics await you.
The master bedroom comes with a king size bed, the 2nd bedroom offers a king size bed with ample closet space. Fresh, white linens and new towels amongst other small touches make your stay pure luxury. The master bedroom with ensuite bathroom has a private balcony where you can sit outside and enjoy your morning tea or coffee.

Citypark apartment is situated on the Pest side, in comfortable walking distance from Heroes' Square, the Museum of Fine Arts and the National Art Gallery. Additionally it is just a half a block from the green City Park, which houses: the Zoo, the Fun Park, Budapest Circus Theatre and the impressive Széchenyi Baths and Spa, one of the most beautiful Bath houses and swimming pools which Budapest is famous for. Also nearby there’s a market hall with butchers, bakers, florists and produce sellers in addition to a small farmer’s market each morning that’s a leisurely 10 minutes away at Hunyadi tér. And, just 5 minutes away in Damjanich utca you will find a small Tesco’s and a Kaiser’s Supermarket as well as a drug store, open from 7 am until 8 pm every day.

And in case you prefer to eat out, Baraka and Gundel, two of the city’s top ten restaurants are also a short walk away: Gundel is right behind Heroes' Square and Baraka is in the MaMaison Hotel Andrássy, just around the corner.

Also of note, Citypark apartment is located in the same building and just next door to our larger VLF property, which makes it an ideal companion apartment for larger groups looking for close but separate accommodations or for groups with up to 8 to 12 persons.
