Description

A beautiful luxury villa at Lake Balaton renovated with a fresh, comfortable, casual air. Reminiscent of a Cape Cod beach cottage or a Mediterranean farm house this home is full of old stone floors and loads of white painted wood.

The ultimate in low-key luxury the property also has a beautiful swimming pool, several covered terraces, a fantastic herb garden and a small lawn perfect for a game of croquet or a kid's game of ball.

It's furnished with a mix of rustic antiques, shabby chic style chairs and sofas and eclectic crystal chandeliers. An ideal space for families with kids to share, the house comfortably sleeps 10 with two ensuite double bedroom/bathrooms a small ensuite single room (for grandma or a nanny) on the first floor, and a large, comfortable, one-big-space attic with 2 double and 2 sinlge beds for 6 (only when temperatures are above 0). There is a large playroom and summer veranda with space for portable sleeping solutions in between the two debrooms on the first floor.

The shared living space also includes a cozy living room, a dining room that can accommodate 12 persons, a home office and a beautiful kitchen with old stone floors and hand-fitted cabinets and modern inox appliances in addition to a large covered terrace that doubles as the outdoor dining and living room in warm weather months.

Additionally there is a laundry room/bathroom with washer & dryer a shower/bathroom by the pool, parking spaces for 2-3 cars and a small grill for barbecues.

Located in the old historic district it is just a five minute walk from the waterfront with the beach, harbor, restaurants, bars and shops along the shore and the exquisite Balatonfüred Silver Resort and Yacht club.
