Many thanks for the fantastic stay that we had in VLF. With a city trip, it is always very important - we think - that one can rely on a safe and comfortable place to stay. So that after a busy day in the city, you can relax and enjoy in your own 'home' - and wake up for a new day. VLF is really an amazing apartment, and we enjoyed every minute of being there. Every square metre has been designed with great taste. Many thanks! We also would like to thank you for your cooperative attitude, after I messed up with the booking in spring this year. I appreciated very much that you offered us to rent the place a second time, and that the security amount would stay in place. Really gorgeous studio apartment, everything we needed was supplied. The large terrace was fab for sunny breakfasts and cool evening lounging. Only 3 tram stops from the Gellert Spa so very handy to get around. Also the art cafe right next door was really lovely! Great communication with the owners and hip homes hungary, I would highly recommend it. It was a great start to our honeymoon.

Service and check-in and check-out by Dorka was excellent and smooth. The Broadway 2 apartment is in a great location and exceptionally quiet, notwithstanding the busy street it is on. It is very tastefully appointed, just like in the photos. We are planning our trip back to Budapest in 2013 and I will be booking the same apartment shortly and are looking forward to our return visit.

We have traveled to Budapest many times and VLF apartment is more like a luxury home. It has to be the nicest, most convienent, and beautiful place I have stayed. Dorka the property manager is a real sweet lady and took very good care of us and was always available when needed. I would like to thank the owner for letting us stay in this beautiful place. We frequent Budapest and would like to stay here again. You will not be dissapointed. Easy access to transportation, shopping and parks. Great find!

Broadway 2 is well located in a very pleasant area of Budapest near the Opera, transport, shops and restaurants and is within walking distance of the very centre of Budapest. The apartment is very spacious, very well equipped and attractively furnished. Dorka and her business partner were very friendly and responsive to our enquiries. It is by far the nicest apartment we have stayed in over the many years we have been renting apartments in Europe and we hope it is available next time we visit Budapest.

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath apartment was fantastic. It was huge, well designed, clean, and quiet. It was exactly as depicted by the photos online. Dorka, who manages the apartment, made arrangements for a car to meet us at the airport and transport us to the apartment. She let us know the cost of the car trip before scheduling it. She was available to us via her cell phone during our stay. We called her on 2 occasions for help and she was available and very helpful. Six of us stayed in the apartment for 4 days and all hated to have to leave. The location is great, close enough for walking to a grocery store, bakery, and main streets to sights. The walk to sights is a fair distance so anyone who would have difficulty walking might want to look for an apartment in a different location or rent a car or use a taxi. Once in the tourist area there are Hop On Hop Off buses that take you to sights of interest. This way you can spend as much or as little time at a sight as you wish before getting back on the bus. I can not say enough good things about our experience in this apartment in Budapest and with Dorka. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!

"Just returned from five days in the beautiful Black & White apartment in Budapest. Two wonderfully light, airy and spacious bedrooms, a huge shower and separate wc and a fully equipped kitchen - it was perfect for us (two couples) and ideally situated for visiting all that Budapest has to offer.
Dorka our host was delightful, helping make the booking of the apartment straightforward and greeting us on arrival. She helped with everything we could ask for, from booking taxis to restaurant suggestions. I can't recommend hip homes hungary enough - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return! "We found the Design Studio to be well equipped. Fast internet and fantastic kitchen. For a studio it was very well set out and we found there was plenty of room for the two of us and our adult son. Having a terrace added to the feeling of space. Close to all tram lines and in a good neighbourhood close to markets and shopping centre. Dorka was wonderful and made us feel at home. Overall exceeded our expectations and we had a great visit to Budapest as a result."

"The Castle Hill apartment was our family's "hip home" during our 2 week stay in beautiful Budapest. We loved it!! The apartment is lovely, modern and spacious, comfortably accommodating our family of 5 which includes 3 young adult children. We were a few steps from the Bécsi kapu (Vienna Gate) and the Vár (castle district) on a quiet street. This apartment was very close to transportation and shopping. We had a car which we parked in a guarded lot just across the street. Dorka was extremely kind and attentive to our needs. She left us a Hungarian mobile phone to use during our stay. Truly an amazing trip and we can't wait to return to Hungary. Would most definitely stay in the Castle Hill apartment again or in any of the other hip homes!!"

I loved staying in this penthouse apartment with its wonderful roof terrace. Much better than any hotel. Very well designed with every thing you need. On the Buda side but with excellent transport links and within walking distance of a large shopping centre, Allee. With Tranzit Cafe downstairs and shops nearby it was a perfect home from home for my 2 week stay.
I look forward to booking Studio 11 or perhaps another of Hip Homes apartments in Budapest. One of my most favourite cities in the world.

"We took up residence at VLF a few months prior to the birth of our first child. Expats from Canada, we were busy working on the development of the Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace, Budapest. We had lived in the 5th District for years but as soon as we saw this flat, we didn’t think twice and took up residence. The spaciousness of the apartment is overwhelming: imagine, almost literally, opening the door to a penthouse level football field, complete with the most wonderful collection of antiques, art, masterful modern lighting and colour. The kitchen is a chef’s dream; the private terrace hidden up in the trees. The flat is the ultimate entertaining venue with soaring ceilings and a plethora of rooms that go on and on and on. It is warm, hospitable, incredibly modern and over the top luxurious. It truly is one of the most fantastic memories we have of our 6 years living aborad."

"We stayed in Broadway 1 for three nights together with friends and our 10 months old baby girl. This vacation apartment is fantastic, it has been furnished and decorated mixing modern design in an old-style high ceilling building. The living room is incredibly spacious: the 6 of us were able to sit together on the sofas and comfortably drink Hungarian red wine, meanwhile my daughter still had plenty of place to crawl and play, she really did feel like at home. The bedrooms are very cosy, beds are comfortable and nights are restful. One thing you can not miss is the oriental style round bathtub, it is incredible and beautiful. Broadway 1 is close to everything and its location makes your daily activities easy: shops, restaurants and the metro are all in walking distance (less than 5 min), furthermore Andrássy Avenue (Budapest's Champs Elysées) is at less than 100m away. From a service point of view, I was happy about how dedicated and professional the representative was. Prior the trip, responses to any inquiries were very fast. She also helped preparing our stay with proposing additional furniture/equipment for the baby. She also took care of the arragement for the airport pick-up. Very good asset in your trip preparation. In one word, I would highly recommend the service of hip homes for any kind of trip to Budapest. Two thumbs up!"

I really enjoy staying at the Bajcsy apartment. It's a beautifully renovated and designed apartment, with amazingly spacious rooms. The full-height windows in the living and dining rooms have stunning views of the cathedral. The central location means everything in central Budapest is just a short walk away, with a huge range of cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep - strolling over to the cathedral square for coffee or cocktails and people watching is a real pleasure. I loved the interesting mix of antiques and art works around the apartment which give it real character. The Hip Homes staff are a pleasure to deal with and couldn't be more more helpful.

I was amazed by how much attention to detail has gone into restoring this charming Villa. The result is just perfect, with period details like tiles and terraces in harmony with stunning contemporary design. The house is beautifully proportioned and the garden is surprisingly private. I have very happy memories of long breakfasts on the terrace in the late summer sunshine followed by a swim in the pool (11m x 4m, so a decent size) while we planned the rest of the day. We enjoyed the gentle charms of Balatonfured, where the new marina adds a few modern bars and restaurants to the more traditional spa town offerings. Further afield, Balaton has lots of great day trips - wine tours, castles, beautiful scenery and walks - making this a great base for a relaxing week in the Hungarian countryside.

We stayed at Broadway 2 mid-way through 2009. The Hip-Homes representative, Dorka, was amazing! We were traveling with our toddler and Dorka went out of her way to help us feel at home. We stayed in many apartments during our long trip around Europe, and Dorka's service was simply outstanding in comparison (and that's not implying that the others were bad). The apartment itself was perfect - very very spacious for a 1-bedroom apartment, beautifully clean, and it is in a wonderful location. What made the apartment outstanding was the attention to detail -- candles to light, matches available, everything you'd want in a kitchen to prepare full meals. What's more, the food from the restaurant directly below the apartment also was the best food we enjoyed during our European sojourn -- and we were not expecting such great food in Budapest, so it was a real surprise. Indeed, the surrounding cafes are hip too, with fantastic food and service. Overall, everything was perfect, perfect, perfect. Thanks Hip Homes and especially thanks to Dorka.

We throroughly enjoyed our stay in Bajcsy - what a stunning property! On arrival we felt like we were walking into a film set or a design magazine. The rooms are of grand proportions, with enormous windows overlooking the cathedral. The bed was very comfortable, and the apartment had all the amenities we could wish for, with a luxury kitchen and shower room. The location is perfect for sight seeing, although we often had trouble dragging ourselves away from our luxury accommodation! Dorka was very helpful and welcoming, from the first email contact to meeting us at the apartment. I highly recommend staying here!
