Description

This 3 bedroom, 2 stories thatched roof house on the hills of Tihany sleeps up to 6 people. It offers great views over the lake Balaton, in a peaceful and quiet environment, close to nature.

Nestled between lavender fields and vineyards, the house has a real countryside vibe. The forest is directly at the back door, ideal for walks and hikes, still only 2 km from the vibrant Tihany downtown.

We highly recommend this property to nature loving families and groups of friends.

All bedrooms have queen size beds and en-suite bathrooms, 2 with shower and 1 with a bathtub. There is an extra toilet for guests on the ground floor. The main bedroom on the second floor has a balcony with amazing Balaton views. The kitchen is fully equipped with a good-sized refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, etc. In the living room, there is a TV, a fireplace and 2 big sofas, and it also has great views of the lake and the romantic but very well-maintained garden.

The temperature of the rooms is always comfortable thanks to the cooling/heating system in the walls but there are extra AC units in the bedrooms.

There are 3 terraces around the house, all of them with beautiful lake views. The main terrace with cozy lounge furniture is accessible from the living room and leads to the panoramic jacuzzi. The second terrace is accessible from the kitchen making it a great outdoor dining area, seats even a bigger group. A barbecue and outdoor fireplace is at your disposal too. The 3rd terrace is located on the highest point of the property, covered with beautiful lawn, and surrounded by lavender bushes. This is a great spot to have some quiet time and privacy, for an afternoon nap or doing some yoga.

Equipped with infra-heaters, the terraces can be used even in cooler weather, but they are also shaded by sun canopies.

There is parking spot for several cars in the garden.

Please also note that this is non-smoking property. We provide ashtray for smoking outside only.
