This 2.5 bedroom stylish luxury apartment on the 2nd floor of an historic building with stunning views of the Basilica offers you a home in the heart of Pest, right by Andrássy Avenue and Deák Square. The apartment has been totally renovated and was featured on the cover of the popular Otthon interiors magazine. The layout of this 128 m2 vacation apartment is exceptional and makes the apartment feel even larger and more spacious than it already is.
Living Room and Kitchen
Here and you will experience space in each rooms due to lots of lights and the huge (4m) inner height. The large light kitchen comes with a small laundry/storage area and an enclosed loft/double bed above good for guests (this is what we call half bedroom). The beautiful dining room with a long, wooden table for 12 persons opens to the a large living room with built in bookshelves, TV, DVD and Stereo System as well as a work desk. The dining room and living room have views to the Basilica.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Facing the quiet, shady and nicely kept backyard, the spacious bedroom with ample closet space has a king size double bed. An attractive bathroom with a large shower with a built in bench and sink is in between the living room and the bedroom, right next to it is a half bathroom with toilet and sink. The apartment has been totally renovated and was featured on the cover of the popular Otthon interiors magazine. The layout is exceptional and makes the apartment feel even larger and more spacious than it already is.
Interesting Budapest Sights and Amenities Nearby
Bajcsy luxury apartment is right in Budapest's city center, opposite of the grand St Istvan Basilica. The River Promenade of the Danube and Chain Bridge is about 10 minutes walk, but Andrássy's many cafés, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance. The Opera House is about 3 minutes walk to one direction, and Deak Square is the same distance to the other.
Just to mention a few place within 5 minutes, try Madame Noi, Prime Steak House or Lacipecsenye for culinary delights. For the evenings, check out one of the many iconic Pester ruin bars in the nearby Jewish Quarter, like Szimpla or Kuplung or visit Ötkert, a popular dance place, that is towards the river, right by the Four Season's Hotel. Or just hang around at the square of the Basilica with its many options for drinks and food, including the best ice-cream in town in the Rose Ice-Cream Shop.
A convenient 24/7 corner-shop offers the basics for a quick shopping. A bigger CBA supermarket and a Drogerie Markt (DM) is in the nearby Arany Janos utca, here you can also find dry-cleaners. The nearest food market hall with butchers, bakers, florists and produce sellers is an easy 8-10 minutes walk at Hold utca.
